SMS Privacy Policy
989 Hospitality · Last updated: September 1, 2026
989 Hospitality (“we,” “us”) operates short-term rental units and sends SMS text messages to the cleaners and contractors we work with. These messages contain operational information about upcoming turnovers — the unit, the scheduled cleaning date, incoming-guest details, and preparation notes. This policy explains what we do with the mobile phone number you give us for that purpose.
How you opt in
This is a private program for the independent cleaning contractors 989 Hospitality
works with; it is not open to the general public. You opt in by completing our consent
form at
https://forms.gle/319uVJVaMPtN52sTA,
which asks for your name and mobile phone number and requires you to check a box
agreeing to receive recurring text messages about turnover assignments, scheduling,
and guest-preparation details. By submitting the form you agree to receive these
operational SMS messages from us. You can opt out at any time by replying
STOP.
Information we collect
- The mobile phone number you provide so we can send you turnover notifications.
- A record of the messages we send you and their delivery status.
How we use it
Your mobile number is used solely to send you turnover and scheduling notifications related to work you perform for us. We do not use it for advertising or marketing.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your mobile phone number, or your consent to receive text messages, with any third party for that third party’s own marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing.
We share your mobile number only with our SMS delivery provider (Twilio) to the extent needed to transmit these messages, and where disclosure is required by law or to protect our rights.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies with the cleaning schedule — typically one to a few messages per assigned turnover.
Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
Opting out
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from us. Reply
HELP for help. Opting out of text messages does not affect your working
arrangement with us — we will simply contact you another way.
Data retention
We keep your number and message history for as long as you work with us and for a reasonable period afterward for our records, then delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version.
